Piano by Ear

Participants should have experience playing piano or an understanding of music theory. This workshop shows you the inside secrets professional piano players use. You’ll learn how to pick tunes right out of your head. In addition, you will learn how to play songs off the radio. You’ll learn how to transpose and improve your musicianship overall. About the Instructor, Ed ”FACE” Korman:
Having already established himself as a versatile musician in the NYC area (keys, guitar, bass, vocals, composition, arranging...in a variety of genres), Face came to Boston to further his musical education by attending Berklee College of Music in the early 80's, and decided to stay. He graduated in 1985 with highest honors as an arranging major, and has since performed with many well known New England artists, recorded on numerous CDs, and played in venues ranging from small local bars to Boston's Symphony Hall.
