Running Club
Enjoy running with your friends? Come join us for running club once or twice a week after school at Deer Hill. Learn the rules of road running while reaching your goal of running a certain distance. Proper stretching technique and running form taught and discussed. Drills to build strength and speed to increase cardiac endurance for all sports. Games that involved constant motion and acceleration played at the end of class.  Coached by Kelly Grech and Kim Spicer, both avid distance runners who enjoy teaching kids the safest, healthiest way to make running part of their exercise regimen. Peer support expected so everyone builds confidence at their own pace. Send the athletes with water bottles and running shoes.  Deer Hill - meet outside the gym

Running Club Jr.
Have a little speedster in your house who never seems to tire out? Sign them up for running club junior at the Osgood school. Warm up, proper stretching technique and running drills taught to encourage appropriate levels of fitness for this younger group. Games with constant motion used to keep them moving and active for the whole class.  Positive reinforcement and peer encouragement enforced so everyone has a good experience and builds confidence at their own pace.  Please send the kids with water bottles and proper running shoes. Runs to deer hill are the farthest this group will go, we will not leave the Osgood.   This class is taught by Kelly Grech and Kim Spicer, both avid distance runners from Cohasset. Osgood -  meet in the gym.
