Yoga Information and Tips
All classes are beginner friendly with many pose options and modifications taught. Yoga is best practiced with bare feet and 1.5 hours after eating a light, healthy, balanced meal or snack. This habit will allow you to feel energized and comfortable during your practice. Wear comfortable, stretchy, layered clothing that allows for free movement. Kids are natural yogi's! Sign your child up to learn the oldest recorded form of exercise in the world and develop lifelong skills all while using their bodies and imaginations to grow into flowers and slither like snakes. Your child will also learn creative ways to calm and center themselves while becoming balanced and stronger. Be ready for some family fun with the Pose of the Week that your child can teach you.
Yoga at RISE
Kids are natural yogi's! Your child has the opportunity to learn the oldest recorded form of exercise in the world during RISE. Your kids will learn to roar like lions, grow into trees and flowers and move like cats and cows all while becoming stronger and calmer through this ancient practice. Please have your kids dress in comfortable, stretchy clothing with easy access to bare feet! Girls may feel more comfortable in pants, skorts or skirts with footless leggings on Yoga days.
